Our Story
Impact was founded in 2017 by childhood friends and ex-professional footballers, Alfred Mugabo and Jonathan Muleba, inspired by their experiences in grassroots football to create a football-based, youth-centred organisation that coaches and guides young people in East London to make a positive impact in their community.
With a dedicated team of coaches and a loyal family of community support, Impact continues to grow. The football academy has developed boys and girls teams, aged 3-18, to compete with success on a local, regional, national and international level. We’re also proud to partner with local schools, providing sports coaching services including primary school PE support and after-school-club sessions, as well as school holiday football camps, striving to support and help as many young people in the area as possible.

Impact Football Academy
Impact has boys and girls match teams from U8 - U18s, competing across local and regional leagues. We are proud winners of leagues and tournaments locally and in the UK, as well as on International tours of Spain, Portugal and The Netherlands, and the prestigious Gothia Cup.
We also have a Development Centre starting from aged 5, to develop young footballers and provide a pathway to our match teams.
Our team has grown to a team of 28 qualified and dedicated coaches across our boys, girls and development groups.
The club is proud to have helped a number of talented prospects with opportunities to sign for professional clubs. We continue to support these boys and girls with their journey in the professional game.
